About The Position

ELYSIS is currently looking for Mechanical Technicians for their sites located in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region. The role involves applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles, ensuring the proper functioning of plant equipment through preventive maintenance, actively participating in problem-solving and technology improvement strategies, and supporting operations, startup, and commissioning activities while ensuring equipment reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of a DEC in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or any other combination of relevant studies or experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance, commissioning/startup
• Fluency in written and spoken French and basic knowledge of English

Nice To Haves

• Plant start-up experience would be an asset
• Experience in aluminum operations (an asset)
• Knowledge with Solidworks (an asset)
