About The Position

ELYSIS is currently looking for Mechanical Technicians for their sites located in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region. One position will be based in Jonquière. The second position will work at both the Alma and Jonquière sites, with 80% of the work to be done at the client's site.

Requirements

• Stand out with an uncompromising commitment to working safely
• Possess a remarkable capacity for resourcefulness and autonomy
• Have a minimum of a DEC in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or any other combination of relevant studies or experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance, commissioning/startup
• Demonstrate a high level of commitment and interest in high technology
• Fluency in written and spoken French and basic knowledge of English. ELYSIS is a global company, and the duties of this position may require collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Québec.

Nice To Haves

• Plant start-up experience would be an asset
• Experience in aluminum operations (an asset)
• Knowledge with Solidworks (an asset)

• Apply the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles by adopting a positive attitude that us zero by choice
• Ensure the proper functioning of the plant's various equipment in a preventive maintenance process and in a teamwork environment
• Actively participate in problem-solving as well as technology improvement strategies with the process team and other stakeholders
• Support the operations, startup and commissioning activities while ensuring equipment reliability and implementing necessary improvements.
