Requirements

DEP electricity or DEC eletrical engineering;
Good understanding of electrical schematics;
Computer skills;
Intermediate French (spoken and written);

Nice To Haves

1 to 3 years' experience in the electrical field (an asset);
Knowledge of English (an asset).

Responsibilities

Carry out various tasks related to the repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of transformers and other medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment.
Carry out tests on medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment:
Technical assembly of power equipment;
Perform transformer tests according to established protocols;
Record test results on various computer forms.
Carry out various tasks required to complete contracts:
Prepare different mounting plates (drilling, component layout) with or without diagrams of how to arrange parts on the mounting plate;
Assemble components (relays, transformers, terminal blocks, etc.);
Control wiring on mounting plates according to electrical drawings;
Assist with maintenance of production equipment as needed.
Perform all other tasks required for the smooth running of operations.
