About The Position

Bridgestone Canada Inc. (BSCA) is seeking an IT Technician to assist internal users in offices and the plant with various IT tools, software, and equipment to maintain operational functionality. The role involves installing, configuring, and administering IT hardware and software for the plant while keeping technical procedure documentation up-to-date.

Requirements

• Must be a student as an internship agreement must be signed with your educational institution (Cegep, University).
• Currently pursuing a DEC or AEC in IT, networks, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
• Internship duration of 1 to 4 months, between August 24 and December 21, 2026.
• Must be a student.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain all IT equipment (workstations, printers, etc.) in both offices and the plant.
• Participate in diagnostics and resolve Level 1 or Level 2 IT issues.
• Contribute to various projects involving the installation or configuration of IT equipment.
• Create and manage IT access.
• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting to various users.
• Maintain and contribute to the ticketing system for IT requests.
• Liaise with external suppliers to maintain and support our systems.
• Promote adherence to the plant's health and safety regulations.
• Occasionally participate in the deployment and support of new technologies.
