About The Position

At MasTec Advanced Technologies, Technicians install and maintain satellite dishes and receivers through a collaboration with a leading partner in the satellite industry. The role includes troubleshooting, fostering positive customer relationships, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors at customer residences and commercial buildings, following safety guidelines. Technicians advise customers on suitable solutions and products and work independently while continuing to learn new technologies. The position includes paid training in safety, customer service, technology, products, and on-site sales techniques. It offers performance-based compensation and incentives, paid time off, benefits options, work tools and equipment, and a promotion path to Field Technician Supervisor and Site Manager.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check.
Ability to climb ladders and meet manufacturer safety requirements for equipment used.
Body weight plus 25 pounds of tools and equipment must not exceed 375 pounds.
Ability to lift 60–80 pounds and climb 28–36-foot ladders.
Ability to work in environments without heating or air conditioning, indoors or outdoors, regardless of weather.
Ability to kneel, crawl, bend, or work in other potentially uncomfortable positions.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a safety-sensitive role.
