About The Position

The role of a site-specific technician at Uptown Alley is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of various technical systems and equipment within the facility.

Requirements

Highschool or GED equivalent.
Must be 21 years old.
Must be able to work up to fifty hours per week.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
English language proficiency.

Nice To Haves

AA or BA in business management or relevant discipline.
Previous experience in a senior management role at an FEC or restaurant.
Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with management to develop budgets for technical maintenance and repairs, as well as capital expenditures for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Prioritize spending to maximize the efficiency and longevity of technical assets while staying within budget constraints.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on technical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity. This includes conducting inspections, lubricating moving parts, replacing worn components, and cleaning equipment as necessary.
Provide technical support and assistance to other staff members, including operators, supervisors, and managers. Site-specific technicians may offer guidance on equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and safety procedures.
Coordinate with equipment vendors, suppliers, and service providers to obtain spare parts, components, and technical support as needed. Site-specific technicians may communicate with external vendors to order supplies, schedule repairs, or request specialized services.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, inspections, and inventory. Site-specific technicians document maintenance activities, equipment specifications, safety procedures, and other relevant information to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Conduct regular safety inspections of technical equipment and installations to identify potential hazards or safety risks. Site-specific technicians must ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide training and guidance to technical staff members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
Training on safety procedures, equipment operation, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance best practices.
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving technical issues promptly.
Assist in developing and implementing safety protocols, procedures, and training programs for staff, and guest.
