This role involves assisting with the startup, operation, and shutdown of production equipment, as well as handling raw materials and finished goods. The technician will be responsible for packaging products, monitoring quality, and ensuring equipment operates within standards. Adherence to food safety, sanitation, GMP, HACCP, and SQF requirements is crucial. The position also supports heat treatment processes, cleaning and sanitation, and identifying/communicating safety and quality concerns. Troubleshooting, waste handling, and documentation are also key aspects of the role.
