About The Position

MasTec Advanced Technologies is hiring a Technician to install and maintain satellite dishes and receivers through its collaboration with a leading satellite-industry partner. The role includes building positive customer relationships, troubleshooting, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Work is performed indoors and outdoors at customer residences and commercial buildings, with adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.

Technicians provide customer-focused service, recommend appropriate solutions and products, and learn current and emerging technologies. The role involves independent work and a flexible schedule that may include weekends or evenings. Paid training covers safety, customer service, technology, products, and on-site sales techniques. The position offers performance-based compensation and a promotion path to Field Technician Supervisor and Site Manager.

The work may take place in environments without heating or air conditioning and may be performed indoors or outdoors regardless of weather. Physical tasks can include climbing ladders, lifting, kneeling, crawling, and bending. Compensation is up to $22 per hour or more.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check.
• Able to climb ladders, including 28–36-foot ladders, and meet manufacturer safety requirements for equipment used.
• Body weight plus 25 pounds of tools and equipment must not exceed 375 pounds.
• Able to lift 60–80 pounds.
• Able to kneel, crawl, bend, and work in other potentially uncomfortable positions.
• Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a safety-sensitive role.
• Customer-service orientation and ability to work independently and multitask.
