About The Position

Mail services LLC is looking for a full-time day shift maintenance technician. We are looking for a person that is highly motivated and a self-starter. The job is a combination of mechanical, electrical and computer troubleshooting and repairs. The position also requires making tuning adjustments to the machines as they are running mail to optimize production. The job involves repairing letter inserting and mail sorting equipment.

Requirements

• Previous technical repair experience required.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic computer and math knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational, communication, mechanical and technical skills.
• Safe working habits.
• Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.

Nice To Haves

• Previous mailing equipment experience preferred.
