About The Position

This is a great time to join a new shop -- the work is there, and it comes with a ton of opportunity. Dealership: Castle Buick-GMC, North Riverside. As a Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. You'll work to identify any automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. You will test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a certified or master technician
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
ASE Certification required with A-level qualifications
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teamwork mentality and ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
