About The Position

Fabricate, assemble, and test complex assemblies/subsystems. Inventory and inspect parts for compliance with work instructions and other documentation. Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Align, fit, and assemble parts using hand tools and fixtures. Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate the performance of parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions and record results. Support assembly, subsystem test, pack & ship operations. Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems. Create and work in a team environment while implementing Continuous Process Improvement. Be able to give/take work direction to/from team members.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read and work from work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, wiring lists, sketches, wiring connection lists, and/or other information and documentation.
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Ability to travel to remote site to support field operations

Nice To Haves

  • Usage and knowledge of adhesives and bonding materials.
  • Knowledge and experience in crane operations, lifting, and handling.
  • Knowledge of proper use of standard hand tools.
  • Knowledge of test and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, scales, or torque wrenches).
  • Knowledge of ordnance handling
