Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad. Saber Power Services seeks a professional, dedicated individual with a positive outlook for our Technician opening in Austin, TX.

Requirements

AAS in Electrical or Electronics Technology or equivalent experience in the high voltage industry
0-4 years’ experience in the high voltage industry
Good mathematical skills required
Good communication skills required
Computer literate in MS Office suite
Ability to travel 50% required
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Power DB knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Assist and perform electrical testing services on power apparatus, substations, and switchgear included (but not limited to) the following: Protective relaying and relaying systems, Circuit Breakers, Power Transformers, Current and Potential Transformers, Meters, Transducers, and Power system metering, Power Cables, Grounding Systems, Motors and Motor Starters, Station Batteries and Chargers, Alarm systems and Annunciators, Personal Protective Equipment
