This role involves operating Recycling and Wastewater/UPW processes according to work instructions. The technician will assist in the installation and qualification of process equipment, troubleshoot daily process and equipment issues, and identify/implement system improvements to enhance safety, process efficiency, and performance. The position requires a strong understanding of wet chemical processes, chemical compatibilities, and general electrical, electronic, and mechanical knowledge. The technician must be self-directed, able to work with minimal supervision, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include developing operational understanding of systems, ensuring processes run on target, responding to alarms, collecting and analyzing process data, performing minor maintenance and repairs, calibrating instrumentation, conducting routine analysis, maintaining records, handling hazardous waste, responding to spills, providing training, and updating internal documentation. The role also involves interfacing with internal associates and suppliers, maintaining effective communication, adhering to safety procedures and housekeeping standards, and using powered industrial equipment. A valid driver's license is required.
