About The Position

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Digital/RF Technician to join their fast-paced Engineering and Test team in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will be supporting a wide variety of tasks in the day-to-day operation within a Engineering Lab. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret security clearance.

Requirements

Associates Degree in EET or equivalent and 5+ years of directly related experience
Electronics certification from a civilian or military technical school
Strong desktop application/GUI knowledge (Putty, Hyper, SSH, etc.)
Proficient with Microsoft Windows based programs
Understands lab safety, ESD principles and day to day operations.
Possess a current Secret Clearance
10+ years electronics experience with electrical hardware testing

Nice To Haves

Electronics certification from a civilian or military technical school

Proficient with Microsoft Windows based programs
Familiarity with labs and day to day operations.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment: conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks: makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
Familiar with setup, calibration, and use of Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzer, and/or Power Meters.
Familiar with work related database tracking applications.
Collaborate with all functional groups on various projects.
Maintain accurate records and explain defects found-clearly and concisely.
Must be willing to work off shifts as required by the needs of the business.
Individual who has initiative, motivation and desire to learn and grow.
