About The Position

This position works out of our Woodridge St. Paul, MN location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. As an R&D Technician you will apply subject matter knowledge to assist and support the designing of new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

  • Associates/Technical Degree Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Under limited supervision assist in the design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.
  • Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.
  • Assists in the planning, design, and development of test requirements and any special testing equipment/apparatus to establish product and/or customer specifications.
  • Supports performance testing of prototypes accordingly to verify product reliability and performance requirements.
  • Assists in the development of engineering documentation for new products or product changes.
