About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides advanced care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is the region’s healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. The technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to user departments and vendors. They ensure accurate processing of equipment returns related to crediting, replacement and/or repairs. They are responsible for the efficient handling of equipment rentals. They maintain the necessary data records associated with the above responsibilities. They also provide support and feedback to the Directors in keeping with the mission and values of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior hospital supply or materials management experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service to user departments and vendors.
• Ensuring accurate processing of equipment returns related to crediting, replacement and/or repairs.
• Efficiently handling of equipment rentals.
• Maintaining the necessary data records associated with the above responsibilities.
