About The Position

This position supports the research activities within Dr. Ali’s lab, focusing on the fundamental laboratory techniques, animal husbandry and data analysis. The role involves assisting with various experiments and tasks to ensure smooth daily operations while contributing to ongoing research projects. Ideal candidates will possess a keen interest in scientific inquiry and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and 1 to 2 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with performing routine in vitro and in vivo experiments
  • Care, breeding and genotyping of mice
  • Data entry and maintenance of lab supplies and records
  • Maintain, calibrate and clean lab equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.
