As a technician, you'll work in a clean and collaborative setting that promotes your professional development and offers national apprentice certification programs. The Reefer Technicians will work in conjunction with the Service Writer and other Technicians to complete preventive maintenance and repairs on TransX-owned Reefer and Heater units in our fleets in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a reefer technician
Experience using Telematic software – Ibright and Trac-king
Able to use email and other forms of communication
Previous experience working with Heater and Reefer units
Able to mount and dismount Heater and reefer units

Nice To Haves

Possessing Carrier and/or Thermo King training/accreditation is an asset
Training, coaching, and mentoring apprentices (Considered an asset)

Responsibilities

System diagnostic (Ability to use OE diagnostic systems) – Read downloads
Providing accurate estimates of repair timelines
Performing quality preventive maintenance service and inspections
Minimizing come-back repairs (Right repair the first time)
Providing corrective and/or improvement maintenance feedback
