Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate’s Degree from a trade school or community college program focusing on a technical field is preferred.
  • Prior experience/internship is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the construction of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Supervisor.
  • Performs laboratory tests and measurements of components, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data with supervision as required.
  • Performs tests according to established procedures with supervision as required.
  • Assists in preparation, setup, and performance of tests.
  • Ensures that laboratory areas and evaluation areas are kept clean and free of all safety hazards.
  • Conducts all tests in a professional and safe manner.
  • Performs other support services as directed by supervisor.
