Requirements

  • Chemical Technician Diploma (or related field of study)
  • General knowledge of lab equipment (e.g., GC, GC/MS, ICP, UV/VIS, Karl Fischer and wet chemistry)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of analytical tests on samples, including refrigerant analysis
  • Write up tests performed and log results in computer database
  • Maintain records and results of all tests performed
  • Ability to work independently and perform troubleshooting as needed
  • Communicate and liaise with other departments
  • Know and apply good laboratory practices
  • Must be safety conscious, including housekeeping to maintain a safe work area
  • Maintain good working relationship with co-workers, management and customers
  • Some overtime required
  • Other duties as requested by Supervisor
