About The Position

In the role of Technician- Packaging Seam Shack working in Golden CO you will be responsible for startups, shut downs, problem solving, preventative maintenance, cleaning & sanitation of all equipment on their assigned area of work. This position reports to the Line Lead- Packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Follow proper quality seam escalations for out of specification checks.
  • Support working with operations, ACRG leads, Seniors and team mechanics to communicate seam status.
  • Performs minor preventative and corrective maintenance (autonomous maintenance), lubricates all machinery, troubleshoots and takes appropriate action or makes necessary operational adjustments to resolve issues, ensuring that the equipment is running efficiently producing quality product.
  • Possesses the basic mechanical and technical skills to accomplish the required machine adjustments and maintenance. Recognizes and enters defects using SAP.
  • Performs a mixture of the following duties as required: line checks of equipment, accident investigation/follow up, hazard analysis, audits, attends meetings, and other duties as assigned by the business.
  • Performs assignments safely at all times.
  • Collect and prepare samples, perform double seam analysis (measure seam parameters) and follow proper quality seam escalations for out of specification checks.
  • Adhere to sampling requirements for 1st and 2nd operation seam checks.
