Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have forklift driving experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Ability to walk, bend, climb, stoop, some periodic lifting
  • Attention to Detail
  • Excellent skills in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactively identifies improvements to processes, systems, and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills – Need to have both written and verbal communications with team members.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 5 years in a manufacturing environment with packaging knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively running high speed packaging equipment (fillers, labelers, palletizers, depalletizers, banders, bottle sorters, box formers).
  • Performing hose hookups and line flushing.
  • Safe operation of forklifts to move materials to the packaging lines and to move full case goods to awaiting trailers.
  • Make machinery adjustments to keep the packaging lines running smoothly.
  • Perform inventory counts and receive/put away materials.
  • Perform multiple tasks to ensure work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Performing quality checks multiple times throughout the shift.
  • Collaborate with blenders, other packaging technicians, Team Leads, Managers, and Supervisors for order fulfillment.
  • May be asked to create, verify, and reconcile inventory counts in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.
  • Other duties and special projects may be assigned as needed by management.
