Technician, Micro Assembly
About The Position
The Micro Assembly Technician performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
- Ability to write and effectively present information.
