About The Position
Reading Thermal Systems is seeking a Micro Assembly Technician to assemble, wire, and calibrate SCORPION® Data Logging Measurement Systems used in commercial ovens, dryers, and cooling tunnels worldwide. This hands-on role requires precision, patience, and strong attention to detail while working with small components under magnification.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and steady hands
- Ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Experience with soldering, electronics, model building, or other fine-detail work preferred
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire precision sensors, including Temperature, Air Velocity, Heat Flux, and Humidity
- Perform micro wiring and soldering using specialized tools
- Calibrate and inspect assemblies to meet specifications
- Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
