The Technology & Innovation Center (HTIC) is GE HealthCareʼs global innovation engine, operating through two major hubs (Niskayuna, NY, USA & Bangalore, India) with a highly specialized, multidisciplinary team spanning imaging physics and systems, microelectronics, AI, biosciences, electromagnetics, robotics, materials science, and advanced system engineering. As a Technician in the Superconducting Magnet team at HTIC, you will carry out a broad range of complex engineering assignments supporting the development of novel superconducting magnet prototypes, including magnet coil winding, cold mass build-up, and cryostat assembly. Assignments may include but are not limited to set-up and operation of data acquisition equipment, execution of experiments, troubleshooting of hardware/test systems, documentation and reporting of test results. The Superconducting Magnet Technician also supports compliance and quality activities within the lab and serves as a technical resource for other team members.
