Entry - Level Technician / Mechanic
About The Position
Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking entry-level technicians to join their team in Hilo, HI. In this role, you will work on various makes and models of construction and forestry equipment including troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, and making the necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Every day you will work on equipment under the guidance of senior technicians, all while you continue building your skills and knowledge as a Technician. To thrive in this job, you must be a self-starter, a team player, and be willing to learn.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of equipment.
- One or more years of experience working on equipment, preferably in the construction and forestry industry.
- Applicants with a Diesel Tech Degree will be considered in lieu of experience.
- Must have own tools.
