About The Position

The Continental Automotive Group is seeking a Master Certified Technician for First Texas Honda in Austin, TX. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement, paid training, sign-on bonuses, and upward mobility. Master Technicians act as consultants for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and procedures, and provide leadership to other members of the Service Department. The shop is fully air-conditioned and offers flexible scheduling within operating hours.

Requirements

  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must demonstrate utmost care for all vehicle repairs performed.
  • ASE Master Techs starting at $34.00 flat rate.
  • Honda Certified Master Techs starting at $34.00 flat rate.
  • Not eligible for transfers or rehires.

Nice To Haves

  • Required to hold a valid State Inspector's license.
  • Potential to earn up to $55 per flat rate with all certifications and production bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and direction to other members of the Service Department.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time frame.
  • Perform advanced removal and replacement diagnostic work.
  • Oversee and sign off on repairs completed by other technicians.
  • Offer training and guidance to other technicians.
