E-ONE manufactures custom and commercial fire trucks including pumpers and tankers, aerial ladders and platforms, rescues of all sizes, quick attack units, industrial trucks, and ARFF (aircraft rescue firefighting vehicles). Responsibilities

  • Perform basic functions for custom fire and rescue vehicles utilizing power and hand tools.
  • Perform duties to prep and install plumbing components on fire apparatus.
  • Perform duties to assemble, install a range of basic electrical components and troubleshoot problems.
  • Perform duties to assemble and install basic accessories and hardware.
  • Perform duties to assemble and install basic mechanical and hydraulic components on vehicles or aerial devices.
  • Ensure manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements are met.
  • Work from schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, shop orders, prints, pick lists, BOM’s, photos, and instructions; will become familiar with schematics.
  • Identify and understand basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical components that are commonly used in assembly.
  • Review shop orders and similar materials to determine requirements.
  • Retrieve parts, materials, and supplies from staging location.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
  • Participate in LEAN and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed to maintain work flow or respond to production requirements.
