This role is in the Single Use Division and will be performed at our Logan, Utah location. As a Production Technician I, you will manufacture, assemble, and package Bioprocess Containers in a cleanroom environment. You will safely carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents (WID), blueprints, and drawings as they relate to assembly, material handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging. Production Technician I’s will work through the site Technician Training Program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No previous work experience required.
  • Competency in using computers, Microsoft Office products, and inventory management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Read and understand written materials, including words, pictures, and numbers.
  • Accurate counting, sorting, calculating, and measuring using tools like calculators and tape measures.
  • Ability to understand chemical safety, including interpreting labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in a cGMP environment, manufacturing, operations, production, or warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery, assemble tubing and connectors, and package and inspect products in accordance with blueprints and drawings.
  • Use various tools and equipment, including computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, Bioprocess Container machinery, and pallet jacks.
  • Follow safety standards, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements, company operating procedures, and policies.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards by collaborating with other stations and departments to address quality errors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as the task is being performed.
  • Participate in Practical Process Improvements (PPI) activities.
  • Work effectively to consistently meet goals as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Focus on personal development through timely completion of training.
  • Adhere to schedule to meet department and site goals while maintaining focus on quality of work.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.
