About The Position

Performs, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds, in a timely and cost-efficient manner. This role involves performing on-site service and repair of equipment, collaborating with other departments, and adhering to safety practices. The position may require training other employees and managing waste generated from work performed. During Pilot Line Setup and commissioning, the role will operate 1st shift hours, transitioning to a 12-hour crew schedule A or C during ramp. Positions may require 2nd shift in various locations on campus for training and on-boarding. Other duties may be assigned, and the job description is subject to change.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and 3+ years maintenance experience, OR High school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience in a related field, OR High school diploma/GED and 2-year technical school & 3+ years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proven Communications Skills.
  • Ability to read prints and suggest modifications as required.
  • Proven Electro/Mechanical skills.
  • Working knowledge of at least 3 of the following Electrical, Mechanical, Vacuum Systems, Chemical delivery, and Robotic.
  • Ability to follow Safe Work Practices.
  • Full understanding of LOTO.
  • Ability to work independently with no supervision.
  • Capable of troubleshooting to the systems level.
  • Demonstrated experience performing PM’s.
  • Must be capable of pulling reports and entering data or pass downs.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to: steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection & respirators) as a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman’s Card from an accredited apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP or Maintenance Tracking Program is a plus but not required if coming in from the outside.
  • Project Leader experiences a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs, as directed, all necessary maintenance of the facility, equipment, and grounds, in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.
  • Performs the on-site service and repair of equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Must meet at least 90% of Estimated Repair Times.
  • Collaborate with other departments.
  • Follows standard OSHA, EPA, and Company safe practices on all work assignments.
  • Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings.
  • May be asked to train other employees.
  • Responsible for adherence to all safety procedures, good housekeeping standards, and the wearing of PPE.
  • Notify EHS Department if there are questions or concerns with the management of hazardous waste.
  • Responsible for managing waste generated from any work that is performed.
