This role involves implementing, testing, and maintaining all manufacturing equipment controls. The technician will perform necessary equipment maintenance in a timely and cost-efficient manner, assist in the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues, and identify and/or implement system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield, and product performance goals. Essential responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, problem-solving, and maintaining all electrical control problems for manufacturing equipment, testing new controls, downloading software changes, assisting IT with communication device setup, identifying and presenting solutions for control problems and continuous improvement, documenting problems, assisting new equipment commissioning technicians, interfacing with company and supplier representatives, maintaining effective communications and teamwork, ensuring safety and good housekeeping, performing predictive and preventative maintenance, developing new electrical PM tasks, and troubleshooting robotic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The role also requires proficiency in Maximo reporting and parts search, and performing additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Lead.
