Requirements

Proven experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and network cabling.
Ability to run, terminate, and label cables following industry standards and project specifications.
Strong troubleshooting skills to promptly identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing low voltage installations and repairs.
Commitment to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Effective communication skills to provide technical support and training to end users.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and generate performance reports.
Collaborative mindset to work with technicians, engineers, and project managers for successful project completion.
Must hold state and jurisdiction required certification and license for the state/jurisdiction of work.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Prior work experience in role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.

BICSI Installer Certification
CompTIA certifications for networking (for example, Network+)
Manufacturer-specific certifications (for example, Honeywell, Axis, or Bosch systems)
NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification
OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification/training

Responsibilities
