About The Position

The Engineering Precision Strike is a growing business area developing the next generation of advanced military equipment. The team is seeking a full time on site electronics technician. In this position you will partner with engineering to provide expertise and innovative solutions that support the engineering process. Electronics technicians provide, resources, and support with many of the hands on technical tasks associated with engineering. You will be asked to perform a variety of highly complex technical tasks which requires the understanding of electronics theory. You must be able to perform as a member of a highly technical team with good communication skills and be able to make good judgement calls. You will be expected to be able to operate automated test equipment as well as various other pieces test equipment within the lab. You may be called upon to help determine what equipment we need for capital purchases. It's expected that you will help mentor technicians as we add additional technicians in the future. This role requires you to be able to work off of rough blueprints and schematics. You must adhere to all corporate policies and procedures as well as policies and procedures within the lab.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in an engineering lab environment or a 2-year degree in the field of electronics or a certified electronics technician.
  • Working knowledge of electronics lab test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot/repair electronics down to component level.
  • Experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Familiar with different software tools used for circuit evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with a variety of circuit designs: RF, Digital, Power Supplies.
  • Experience reading schematics.
  • Experience with a variety of test equipment: Oscilloscopes, Multi meters, power supplies, Signal Generators, Network analyzers, etc.
