About The Position

The Incoming Inspection Technician performs functional testing of electrical, electro-mechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments to verify compliance with established procedures and specifications. The position also assists in the development, implementation, and refinement of calibration standards to support accuracy and quality objectives.

Requirements

  • High School Degree/GED plus a minimum of 2 years current and related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical systems quickly (ERP systems, CMS systems) and apply them consistently.
  • Maintain high standards of organization and completeness in fast-paced, accuracy-driven environments.
  • Experience reviewing transaction data, account activity metrics with precision and accountability.
  • Strong experience documenting regulatory information with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Background in compliance-heavy environments reinforces attention to precision and accuracy.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed functional checks and validation of systems and equipment using structured processes and checklists, ensuring readiness for operational use or deployment.
  • Apply strong attention to detail to confirm accuracy, completeness, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to identify the root cause of issues, distinguishing between user error, procedural gaps, and system-related problems.
  • Utilize problem-solving and risk assessment skills to evaluate and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Ensure all required components, accessories, and materials are present, properly organized, and all units are functioning upon return or prior to use or delivery.
  • Follow structured procedures to set up and operate systems or tools used to evaluate performance and functionality.
  • Accurately read, interpret, and act on both digital and system-based data to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records across multiple systems, ensuring traceability and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Provide support across operational areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in dynamic environments.
  • Backup support experience includes handling multiple responsibilities such as customer service, operations, and training.
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements across all responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
