The Technician III is responsible for using automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities. The Technician III will use custom software packages to complete tasks and create final products. This position reports to the Day Supervisor-Long Oligo-Standard and is part of the Long Oligo Value Stream located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

  • Uses aids and SOPs to make decisions about the proper production path per product
  • Relevant lab experience
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • previous experience in: knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

  • Perform All duties of Technician II
  • Assist in organizing and training of new technicians.
  • Coach/train technician I and II as a subject matter expert.
  • Investigate and communicate root cause of quality defects.
  • Identify instrument problems encountered and submit and follow up on work orders when necessary.
