The Technician III is responsible for using automated and manual lab equipment accurately; including limited maintenance and troubleshooting activities. The Technician III will use custom software packages to complete tasks and create final products. This position reports to the Day Supervisor-Long Oligo-Standard and is part of the Long Oligo Value Stream located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role.

Requirements

Uses aids and SOPs to make decisions about the proper production path per product
Relevant lab experience
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

Nice To Haves

previous experience in: knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

Perform All duties of Technician II
Assist in organizing and training of new technicians.
Coach/train technician I and II as a subject matter expert.
Investigate and communicate root cause of quality defects.
Identify instrument problems encountered and submit and follow up on work orders when necessary.
