Lead the physical installation and inspections of life safety systems or other technologies on all assigned projects or inspections. Work alongside a team to ensure safety and quality objectives are met by adhering to industry standards and best practices. This role involves leading daily work project and inspection plans, including safe work practices and requirements. Responsibilities include assisting in cable pathway construction, cable pulling, device terminations, and system testing. The technician will monitor life safety systems during inspections, ensure connected devices are tested correctly, document test results, and communicate findings and discrepancies to the team, addressing any malfunctions immediately. They will also review online documentation, utilize checklists, produce quality work, maintain an organized environment, and arrive on time, being self-driven to accomplish tasks. The role requires working as a supportive team member, gathering technical skill sets, and being a key team member for inspection training. Collaboration with leadership on process improvements and assisting the Sales team to solidify client relationships are also part of the role. Closing projects involves performing customer walk-throughs and submitting documentation. Post-project, input is provided to management on processes and best practices, with recommendations for improvement. The role also includes supporting Service ticket completion and providing mandatory support to CEC's 24/7 On Call rotation. Other duties as assigned.
