About The Position

The Technician II is responsible for performing intermediate-level technical and mechanical work in support of manufacturing operations. This role includes troubleshooting equipment and process issues, conducting repairs and preventive maintenance, supporting production goals, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members to maintain efficient operations.

Requirements

• Capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools
• Able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching
• Lifting up to 45 pounds
• Must work in a safe manner
• Maintain a clean work area
• Meet quality standards
• Implement continuous improvement measures
• Cross train and complete other jobs as required
• 6 months experience in commercial vehicle inspection, repair or a related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to analyze and solve production, quality, and engineering issues
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Able to access and understand assembly prints
• Willing to work overtime as required
• Able to work first or second shift
• Legally authorized to work permanently in the country the position is located in at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment and process issues

• Working periodically under a chassis and reaching above your head for extended periods of time
• Performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems installations with the assistance of documentation
