Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with heavy construction equipment or rental equipment required.
- Intermediate experience with major & minor repairs of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, diesel and gas engines on construction equipment.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing equipment repairs.
- Must have the necessary tools you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
- Intermediate understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
- Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.

Nice To Haves
- Experience with Tier 4 engines and DPF, SCR, and EGR aftertreatment systems is preferred.
- Diesel laptop and welding experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
- Performing equipment repairs.
- Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment issues.
