About The Position
This position provides intermediate technical support for voice and data communication systems. This role bridges entry-level tasks and advanced engineering responsibilities, focusing on installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications infrastructure across enterprise environments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years related work experience
- Solid understanding of telephony protocols and/or TDM (PRI, T1)
- Proficiency in VoIP infrastructure design and Cisco Call Manager configuration.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve moderate complexity issues in voice and data circuits (SIP, T1, PRI).
- Configure and maintain VoIP, PBX, and related voice systems; assist with upgrades and migrations.
- Provide guidance to junior technicians and assist in knowledge transfer.
- Work with carriers and vendors for circuit troubleshooting and service optimization.
- Ensure adherence to E911, security, and organizational standards.
