About The Position

The Technician II Sterile Fill operates fill line equipment to fill products in accordance with applicable standards, including cGMP, GDP, and SOPs. The role also involves sanitizing fill rooms and aseptic areas, preparing rooms and equipment for sterilization and daily operation, completing required documentation, and maintaining productivity, efficiency, and flexibility. This is an onsite position at Alcon’s North Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas, scheduled Monday through Friday from 11:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. CST.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Efficiently perform assigned fill-room tasks, including room setup, startup and shutdown, filler operation, and basic troubleshooting.
Perform major cleanings of aseptic areas, including fill suites and ancillary areas.
Prepare fill-room and sanitization materials for sterilization, including filters, fill-room equipment, and sanitization equipment.
Complete required documentation, including MBRs, SOPs, and logbooks, in accordance with cGMP and cGDP.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor aseptic problems with lines and equipment, notifying maintenance or supervisors as needed.
Close out MBRs using the MBR checklist and review all supporting and sampling documentation.
Demonstrate good aseptic technique in the fill room.
Sanitize fill suites and ancillary areas in accordance with applicable standards and procedures.
Prepare line equipment for daily operation according to SOPs for the assigned work area, including sanitizing contact surfaces.
