Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for their shop in South Fort Worth, TX. Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
Experience in construction equipment or equipment rental background.
Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
Must have the necessary basic tool set to perform equipment repairs.
Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques.
Attention to detail.
Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
Safety oriented.

Responsibilities

Performing preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions.
Repairing heavy construction equipment.
Inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment to ensure performance to manufacturer specifications.
Maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards while performing equipment repairs.
