About The Position

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Technician I or II to join our Development department located at our Ridgefield, CT facility. The Technician will conduct technical activities according to protocols. He / she receives daily tasking assignments, under moderate supervision and functions as a member of work team by assisting others and promoting a team-oriented work environment. This role performs all work in conformance with applicable regulations in a safe manner and will also work within the laboratory or processing environment. Requirements

Associate´s Degree in relevant scientific/technical discipline and 0 - 2 years relevant experience or high school education (or equivalent) plus 3-4 years relevant experience.
Demonstrates knowledge of technical area
Ability to troubleshoot
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate laboratory/process equipment and apparatus
Ability to learn new technical skills and concepts
Concise and accurate reporting of technical data and information
Appropriate level of understanding of applicable regulation
May require ability to push, pull, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. May require ability to wear a Respirator.
