About The Position

A Technician II is a skilled manufacturing technician who is responsible for development and manufacturing of products tailored to a customer’s specific requirements. This position requires some experience and technical knowledge. Some required responsibilities include sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation, formulating custom orders, operating laboratory equipment, following procedures and regulations, and taking quality control samples. This position reports to the Supervisor for that shift and is part of the Commercial and Regulatory Products – Plating & Replication value stream located in Coralville, IA and all work is performed on-site. Anticipated Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm (Weekdays) In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform the manufacturing tasks to transform raw materials into final products including decontamination process, product transfer, and maintenance connection software. Operate instruments in the lab that are needed to complete the tasks by following all work instructions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to customer specific as well as general work instructions and SOPs. Support daily management: assessment to drive problem solving with data and suggest countermeasures.

Requirements

  • Associate’s (2 year) degree or comparable combination of education and experience required
  • Some lab experience.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s (4 year) degree preferred.
  • Science related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.
  • 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
  • Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
