The Technician II, Fast Turn Pools is responsible for performing the synthesis and formulation of synthetic DNA according to the customer’s order. This generally includes synthesis, cleavage, deprotection, formulation, and final packaging of the products being made. This position reports to the Supervisor, is part of the Fast Turn Pools Value Stream located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Some laboratories experience.
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, in related field, preferred
  • 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience.
  • Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft

Responsibilities

  • Accurately use aids and work instructions to make decisions about proper production flow based on product type or services.
  • Use a variety of lab equipment to process products including maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Perform lab cleaning and decontamination protocols in accordance with work instructions and Maintenance Connection software
