About The Position

The Technician I is primarily responsible for meeting customer and contractor vehicle service and repair needs. The role performs vehicle repairs using proper and safe techniques, inspects vehicles against industry-accepted standards, and completes minor shop duties such as cleaning and taking out trash. The technician maintains a tidy work area and performs tasks under general supervision using established procedures, with some opportunity to apply innovation and independent judgment. The position has no supervisory responsibility and refers unusual problems to a supervisor.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Address service and repair needs for contractors and after-sale customers.
• Repair vehicles properly using safe techniques.
• Inspect vehicles against industry-accepted standards.
• Complete minor shop duties, including cleanup and taking out trash.
• Maintain a tidy work area.
• Make recommendations regarding work procedures, policies, and practices when appropriate.
• Refer unusual problems to a supervisor.
