About The Position

At Main Event, Technicians maintain the center’s games, entertainment options, equipment, building, and systems so they operate properly and safely. The role supports repairs, preventive and scheduled maintenance, safety, and sanitation, while also welcoming and engaging guests. Paid on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Guest-focused mindset and ability to work as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Ability to learn and use multiple systems that support the business.
General knowledge or skill in repairing and maintaining automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
Practical application skills in electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
Basic working knowledge of hand tools and ability to use and handle tools to perform work.
Ability to perform work on ladders.
Ability to handle equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive maintenance, and scheduled maintenance.
Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, and other equipment.
Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components or parts, including bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility.
Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
