The Technician I - Facilities, Maintenance focuses on the maintenance of the buildings and utilities supporting site activities. It is responsible for the timely maintenance activities of existing HVAC, facilities, and associated systems that are consistent with regulatory guidelines, company policy, and safety requirements. The Maintenance Technician I will perform repairs and maintenance in all areas of the building including office, lab, utility, and clean rooms. This position participates in on-call rotation for equipment and facility after hours and weekend response.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR Technical or Associate degree in maintenance related field
  • 1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in a cGMP related environment
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to perform general facility repair, maintenance, and upkeep
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs in a regulated environment
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, and other systems)

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance across office, lab, utility, and cleanroom areas
  • Maintain HVAC systems, facilities, and utilities in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Execute preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues in both lab and manufacturing environments
  • Respond to equipment and facility issues, supporting manufacturing operations as needed
  • Complete work orders and accurately document all maintenance activities per required practices
  • Coordinate maintenance activities around cGMP production schedules and operational needs
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend facility and equipment support
