Requirements

  • 2+ years of HVAC experience (installation or service background preferred)
  • Washington Electrical O6A Certification
  • Valid EPA Certification
  • Gas Mech 1
  • Idaho Journeyman
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Understanding of HVAC system components, refrigerant charging, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

  • Nate Certification
  • Gas Piping, electrical, or low-voltage experience
  • Ability to read job plans, blueprints, or layout drawings
  • Understanding of jobsite safety regulations and requirements
  • Familiarity with Service Titan
  • Procore knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform start-up, testing, and verification of new HVAC equipment in residential construction projects.
  • Inspect installations for proper wiring, ductwork, and airflow prior to system start-up.
  • Calibrate thermostats, verify refrigerant charge, and test equipment operation.
  • Record system data and submit start-up documentation accurately and timely.
  • Identify deficiencies or installation issues and coordinate corrections with the Installation Team.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, code standards, and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent R&R professionally on all job sites.
  • Maintain tools, company vehicle, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
