About The Position

The Technician, Foundry 1 works in a foundry handling molten metal and supporting casting operations. The role includes maintaining consistent metal flow to the casting table, plugging and unplugging the melting furnace, assisting with pre- and post-cast operations, and loading and unloading metal logs from equipment. The technician must follow company safety rules, work instructions, and procedures. The scheduled shift is Monday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
• High school diploma.
• Flexible to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
• At least 1 year of forklift driving experience.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in metal casting, metal manufacturing, or a foundry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations as per company policy.
