Our Field Technicians are customer focused, self-motivated and provide multi-service for the area of Field Installation and Repair. You will work independently in the field, installing and repairing telecommunications services, solving technical issues, and building strong customer relationships. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who enjoy working hands-on, learning new technologies, and making a difference in the communities they serve.

Requirements

Previous customer in home installation and repair experience of any services such as, cable, Satellite TV, phone, or internet.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract annually.
Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
Comfortable working in varying heights and spaces.
Capacity to lift and work with materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Technically inclined and have a desire to learn.
Must be comfortable working at heights with ladders or bucket truck (training will be provided).
Occasional travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Fiber is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations for fiber to the home in customer’s homes and businesses.
Troubleshooting and repair support for Internet, and Phone Service.
Install and repair support for Internet and fiber networks.
Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis.
Be highly adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures.
Provision and maintain outside plant facilities, including buried and aerial fiber networks.
Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis.
Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal direction.
